Anime Banzai will offer NO REFUNDS for any reason other than cancellation of the event on our part.
If you wish to transfer your badge to someone else, it will need to be done at least 2 weeks before the event. We will need your information, as well as the information of the person taking your place. After the 2 week mark we will be unable to take any transfers.
Under certain circumstances passes purchased prior to the event can be transferred to next years convention but you must contact us, prior to the convention.

Ticket Prices
Preregistration Ticket Prices
- Block 1 – $35 – ends April 30th
- Block 2 – $45 – ends August 31st
- Block 3 – $50 – ends October 6th
By purchasing tickets during the pre-registration dates earns you access to a special Thursday night event, swag bag, exclusive collectable badge, and a few other surprises.
Regular Ticket Prices
(Open from October 6th to October 16th.)
- Online\At-Door Weekend – $55
- Online\At-Door Friday – $35
- Online\At-Door Saturday – $45
- Online\At-Door Sunday – $25
- Child’s Pass – free with a paying adult for children 10 years of age and under. 1 children pass per adult.
When a ticket is purchased a confirmation email will be sent. It will have the QR Code and the information to get the ticket at the convention.

If you pre-registered, you can pick up your badge at a couple different times.
- Thursday, October 13 – 6:00pm-10:00pm
- Friday, October 14 – 9:00am-9:00pm
- Saturday, October 15 – 9:00am-9:00pm
- Sunday, October 16 – 9:00am-12:00pm noon
Thursday night is only for Pre-Registration badge pick-up. There is a separate line for Pre-Registration pick-up. On Thursday night, it is the only option. But if you are picking up your badge on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, make sure you head to the smaller line that leads to the room across from the Registration Desk. The two lines are not the same. The Registration Desk will not have your Pre-Registration badge; the Pre-Registration Room will not have regular badges for sale.
There is also a pre-con event, held exclusively for Pre-Registration badge-holders.
Yes, all attendees must have a valid badge to attend all programming within the convention.
Utah Anime Promotions does not usually issue refunds, but sometimes we decide differently on a case-by-case basis. If you cannot attend the Anime Banzai convention this year, you may transfer your ticket to another attendee. Please contact the Registration Department for more information.
Anime Banzai sells pre-registration tickets at different prices when registration opens.

Pre-registration includes access to all events, panels, guest opportunities, and competitions as well as access to a special Thursday night pre-con event.
AT-CON REGISTRATION HOURS
Thursday
- Thursday is for Pre-Registration badge pick-up only.
- Thursday is also for a special event open to Pre-Reg-Badge-holders only.
- 6:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday
- There are separate lines for Pre-Reg Badge pick-up and regular Registration.
- 9:00am – 9:00pm
Saturday
- 9:00am – 9:00pm
Sunday
- 9:00am – 12:00pm noon
Utah Anime Promotions and the Anime Banzai Convention do not issue refunds.
However, you can sell your badge to another person. Please contact the Registration Department for details and information. How the money is transferred is completely up to the two parties involved; there is no action from Utah Anime Promotions or the Anime Banzai Convention. Remember: the new person’s name must match the name on their ID. This name will not appear on the badge; no names appear on badges.
There is also a possibility of rolling it over to next year’s convention. Use the contact registration link above to get more information on this option.
Utah Anime Promotions allows an attendee to transfer their badge to someone else in the event they are unable to attend the Anime Banzai Convention after pre-purchasing one. Please contact our Registration Department with your information and the new attendee’s information.
Utah Anime Promotions requires your full legal name when registering for your badge. You will need proof of this name via a valid ID Card to pick up your badge. However, your name will not appear on your badge. Utah Anime Promotions recommends making your badge identifiable to you by writing your preferred name, writing your nickname, or decorating your badge as you wish. Please remember to keep all badge decorations family-friendly.
